Ikarus 3D is looking for Sculpting artists who are proficient in using Zbrush for organic modelling and adding details to 3D Assets. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in creating character models from scratch with high attention to details.
Roles and Responsibilities for 3D Character Artist:
- Sculpting skills: Ability to create anatomically correct and visually appealing characters/creatures from the given concept arts from scratch or using base mesh in Zbrush.
- Retopology: Ability to create clean and rig ready topology of the sculpted characters.
- Follow design reference and work in a range of styles: Must have an eye to capture the details from the provided references, and create the 3d models accordingly. Create alternate visual styles in accordance with the client’s vision and needs.
- Modelling skills: Must be able to block any hard surface accessories for the character wherever required.
- Texel density & UV layout skill: Must have the knowledge to properly layout UV to capture maximum details from texture for stunning visual quality.
- Baking: Must be able to bake/export high quality maps from Zbrush/Marmoset.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports about the work done.
- Deep knowledge of sculpting and anatomy.
- Experience in creating models for 3D Printing.
- Collaborate with team members to produce a wide variety of projects.
Software Needed:
Expert level: Zbrush
Intermediate: Autodesk Maya/ 3DS Max
